I recently attended the March ARB Air Show and had my first introduction to the Fueled by the Fallen Team. Words escape me to adequately explain to you how deeply I was moved by the memorial, the team and Mr. Howard.

The honor that you bestow on our fallen warriors is without a doubt heart touching, emotional, completely appreciated and cherished.

Thank you so very much for caring. In this day and age, too many have forgotten, don't care or simply cannot be bothered to celebrate the memories of our service members. Fueled by the Fallen raises the bar to new heights and is without a doubt a damn tough act to follow.

Mr. Howard, I want to extend my personal thanks to you and your team; as a Marine, Patriot and fellow American you have moved me deeply with your cause.

Semper Fidelis,

Roy H. Barrett II

Dear Kevyn,

I met you this morning after the parade in Estes Park when I was looking for our son's name on your car (Recon Sgt. Nicholas R. Walsh).

Nick was killed by a sniper on May 26, 2007 in Fallujah - the same day one of his younger brothers graduated from high school.

I just want you to know that your kind and gentle act of taking my hand and walking with me to find Nick's name on your car will never be forgotten by me. Thank you for caring about me, my family, our son and all of the fallen Marines.
Here is a photo of Nick, his wife, Julie and their sons Triston and Tanner. I took this photo a few weeks before Nick deployed April 1. It is the only picture ever taken of the four of them. I send this to you so that you can see how important it is that people like you name them and help others remember them.

These brave Marines are not numbers...they are our sons, fathers, husbands, brothers, grandsons and nephews. They are our boys. They are Nick. Thanks you for all you do. It was a pleasure meeting you today.

Best,
Maggie Walsh

Hi,my husband and I want to thank you. We met you today at the memorial in Canyon Country. We were so impressed that you immediately knew where to find our sons name. It's all we have left...memorials to our sons and daughters. It means so very! much to know that their names are being shown to so many. We want everyone to know who they were, so much more than an number. For us, he was our only child!

Thank you for your inspiration, time, effort and understanding of the importance of having our fallen heroes remembered.

Thank you for today.

Dear Fueled By The Fallen,

I wish to thank Mr. Kevyn M. Howard and Fueled by the Fallen for assisting my family and I in our time of need. After being wounded in my 3rd tour during my16 years active service, I decided to get out of the military and finish my 20 years as a reservist. I was not prepared for the delay of disability pension or the loss of work due to VA appointments and employer's hesitance to provide the time off without consequences. FBTF helped us when we needed it most! Thank you so much!

You men and women are why I am proud to be an American. I work for Cruisin Style Magazine, one of your many sponsors, and after reading the story we did on you,(Fueled By The Fallen, Feb '08) I cried. I have many friends that are at war right now and I worry everyday if I will ever see them again. For you to have done what you have done in honor of our men and women is amazing. I am sure I speak for all of us here at Cruisin Style when I say THANK YOU for what you are doing. OORAH BABY.

Mr. Kevyn Major Howard,

My name is Jeremy Hust. In December 2005 I shot with you at your house studio in LA for some headshots. The best headshots any photographer has ever delivered! Anyhow, my reason for personally emailing you is not to shed even more light on your brilliant and well known photography work but to let you know just how inspired I was by your "Fueled By The Fallen" creation. What a beautiful cause! The fact that you are honoring these brave men and women that sacrificed their lives for our freedom is truly inspiring. God bless you for that sir.

You have inspired me to make a donation to this most wonderful cause. Granted I can in no way lend to the cause the financial support that the corporations can but I figure that every little donation made to Fueled By The Fallen will eventually add up. Every dollar is important right!

God bless you sir for what you are doing. What a difference you are making! You made a difference on that day back in December of 2005 when you took the time to sit down with me and talk to me one and one relaying your experiences in the Hollywood industry and were ever so encouraging to me. I've never forgotten that. Now to see that you are making a difference on a much more profound level with Fueled By The Fallen only confirms the heart of gold that you must possess. Thank you for your compassion! Keep up the great work.

Sincerely,
Jeremy Hust

See what other people are saying about our project!

I am the wife of Sgt. David Kreuter and I happened on your site by another Gold Star Wife. I was curious to know if my husbands name is on the vehicle and if so can you send pics for my 2 yr old son who never got to meet his Dad.

Kevyn Major Howard,

I am the mother of Lance Corporal Jeramy Ailes, who died in Fallujah, Iraq on November 15, 2004, going house to house in search of insurgents from around the Arab country.

I think this is a wonderful thing that is being done for all military personnel, living, and those who have passed on helping our country and that of Iraq and Afganistan. It is people such as yourselves that help us through our grief journies.

Thank you,

Lana Ailes

This is great. I have a few buddies whos names are probably on that car. Thank you. This means a lot to me. Especially being a car guy. Oorah!
